Lady Be good was produced by the Surflight Theatre in May, 2009. It was directed by Steve Steiner, choreographed by Paula Hammons Sloan with set design by Joe Gourley, and costume design by Jong Kim Hee.

After being evicted and setting up their home on the sidewalk, Dick and Susie sing "Hang on to Me"

The party guests enter for Josephine's garden party singing "Oh, What a Lovely Party"

Outside at the party, the girls sing "End of a String" as they play their ribbon game to catch the men.

Josephine and Daisy duiscuss Daisy's choice of men.

Watty, the lawyer, pleads with Josephine to convince her uncle not to evict Dick and Susie.

Watty continues his discussion with Josephine, while trying to court her at the same time.

Led by Jeff, the entertainer, the guests perform the big tap number"Fascinating Rhythm"

The dancing comes to an abrupt stop as Josephine confronts the maid for spilling sugar.

Everyone's attention is pulled to the Butler as he plays the melody for "Fascinating Rhythm" on the wine glasses.

The "Fascinating Rhythm" dance resumes

Watty informs the butler to be on the lookout for a Mexican guy who is after him, and happens to be standing behind him.

During the song "Lady, Be Good" Watty fantasizes that the statues in the garden have come to life and are dancing with him.

Watty prays the statues really are alive.

After Dick and Josephine announce their intention to get married, Susie isn't happy because she knows Dick is really in love with someone else.

Opening number of Act II, in the lobby of the Robinson Hotel.

Daisy tells her eccentric fiance Bertie that he can be the hotel dectective.

Dick and Shirley sing "Half of it, Dearie, Blues"

The men sing "Juanita" as they try to have their way with the Mexican girl, who is really Susie in disguise.
