It's Only a Play

It's Only a Play was produced by the Surflight Theatre in October 2006. It was directed by Steve Steiner, with set design by Jessica Kaplan, sound design by Bryan Rothrock, and costume design by Andi Lyn.

The playwright forces everyone to pray for each other's success.

The New York Times has come in with the review of their play and everyone frantically searches for it.

Gus, the temporary helper at the opening night party, attempts to read the review.

Jack, the actor who turned down the leading role, reads the review in which everyone gets panned....including him even though he wasn't even in the show.
