It was directed by Even Bergman, with set design by Jo Winiarski, sound design by Sam Kusnetz, costume design by Elizabeth Flauto, stage managed by Elis Arroyo.
The show is loosely based on the life of Dusty Springfield. It explores Dusty's inner struggle dealing with the fact that her life did not turn out the way she had planned. As the show opens just after her death, we see a flashback of her performing.

Dusty and her back up singers perform "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me" in concert.

The singers are appalled as they sing "Wishin' and Hopin'" in South Africa as they see the authorities pull the black people out of the audience.

Mary O'brien, Dusty's real name and a mcharacter portraying Dusty as a 15 year old school girl, jumps in and finishes the concert with Dusty.

Mary confronts Dusty in her dressing room.

Mary looks on as Dusty's life spirals out of control with alcohol.

After rumors of her being a lesbian, reporters observe Dusty with her girlfriends.

Mary sings "Anyone Who Had a Heart" as she wishes she liked herself better.

A Flashback in which Dusty's brother Dion and her former teacher appear.

Dusty attempts to record a record but is too high on drugs.

Dusty spirals into hallucination from a drug overdose.

After an AA meeting Dusty and Mary reconcile.

Dusty dies in Mary's lap.
